People will buy the ZR1 because it's lighter and cheaper. An GM has historically always been ok with their previous range topper model losing sales when the new one comes out. If you look at the C6 generation, Z06 sales PLUMMETED after the ZR1 came out. The C7 less so because the ZR1 was such a short run.
I don't expect dealers to stock either car. So it'll comes down to "what dealer will give me the best price" and you likely won't see major discount differences.between the ZR1 and ZR1X.
The X does not eliminate the need power power limiting the ICE motor. Adding some power to the front wheels does not make any real difference in how much power the rear wheels can put down.
Anyways, this car it nuts in the best way, but It's not really for me.

Those are some great points. I'm not sure if I want to keep throwing money at this unless I decide to consolidate or trade for fair values and/or discounts.
