The results continue to confirm what we know. Both Mclaren drivers cannot outperform the car. When the car is absolutely dominant (class of 1) they do well (most of the time), but when it is anything less than absolutely dominant, even though it's still the fastest (as it was leading up to quali), they simply don't have the ability to raise the performance level of the car. Max does that more than anyone else in history along with Senna, Schumacher, and maybe Fangio. MB also did a pretty good job of driving well this weekend, but their car is nowhere near the challenge the RB is.
