In seriousness what I suspect is that the 245 conti is unusually small and the 255 is unusually large. This is generating more than 1% difference between axles since the sidewall ratio is identical. There are strange differences in sizes seen sometimes. It's not just continental. It seems these measurements are more of a reference point than truth in dimensions. Always best to try to match the circumferences 100% in electrically governed AWD systems.
