The issue with Alfa has never been beauty or the driving experience. They're amazing to look at and fantastic to drive. Reliability is a known issue - especially the electricals - but I can live with that somewhat.
It's the parts availability issues that put me off recommending Alfa cars. I bought my 2011 159 during Covid to be my cheap daily but I find myself still driving the M3 more simply because I am afraid to put miles on the Alfa due to poor parts availability. The QV is probably ok now since it's relatively new, but this will become more prevalent as the car ages. Otoh, BMW parts are readily available anywhere anytime.
I keep thinking about selling the Alfa but how do you sell something that looks like this... 😅

love 159 design and much sharper performance design and kinda exotic looking compared to current soft lines on the quad. 159 will look good for many years due to clean design lines and no awkward bulging shapes
