Not really true. EVs are gaining market share in virtually every market. The rate of growth has lessened somewhat, but it's still positive, meaning every year, the share of new cars that are EVs is increasing. Lots of stats and juicy graphs here if you don't want to take my word for it.

I'm not going to go down this (stupid) rabbit hole any more than just say the majority of EV growth in the West was subsidized and those are going away this year and over the next few years. I highly doubt you see sales anywhere near what you have over the last years.
