I wear Hoka Arahi 7's in a 12 Wide. It fits my wide toe-box. I used to wear the Gaviota but with the 4 they made it stiffer and I don't like how it feels for walking (probably better running).

I'm a Hoka convert for sure. For me (6'2", 220) they offer a great blend of cushioning and support. And the forefoot is wide. Part of my problem is that even with a so-called wide shoe while the upper might not be stretched out, the sole isn't wide enough or supportive on the edge and the outer edge of my forefoot (particularly my left) gets really sore.

Never had that issue with the Hoka's.

Have tried OnClouds but the stability isn't there for fast walking. I have a pair as a knock around sneaker and they are super comfy but have tried walking in them and they are a mess.
