The car is making a noise from the engine like a drumming noise it gets faster when you increase the rpm and you can feel the vibration through the clutch pedal?

I have had the dual mass flywheel and clutch changed and also drained the oil to check for metal particulate there is nothing also checked crankshaft thrust bearings by pulling on pulley side and flywheel side there is about 1-2 mm of play.

Can’t find the source of the noise any ideas ?
Did you replace the clutch throw out/release bearing when you renewed the clutch?

You can also check at the accessory drive end for any signs of play with any of the idler/tensioner bearings and any accessory drives.

Last but not least a search of common problems with 118d turned up a problem with the front coupling of the drive (prop) shaft. Of course if you experience the noise with the vehicle stationary the front drive shaft coupling is not the source of the noise.
