30 years since Fangio's death.
10 years since Bianchi's official death.
I don't like discussions about what to remember and what not. What to pay attention to and what not. Here, everyone is for themselves, for themselves and about themselves.
Age, place, circumstances... The case of Juan Manuel, who lived to a ripe old age, given the era, is in some ways as unexpected as Jules' accident was for some. Everything is different, the essence is the same. Mortal, sometimes - suddenly. In our sport - often suddenly.
Then - the route from posts by colleagues, relatives and fans, to children's coloring books. Or to "nothing", here it is optional.
I recently remembered Fangio, on his birthday, with the words of Enzo Ferrari. For Jules Bianchi, I don't see any point in picking something. Here's his father's post, in two languages. No one will have any questions about it.
The era of the introduction of halos, hans and their alternatives is the era of a series of deaths in different series. There are Jules and Dale Earnhardt. There are also Maria de Villota, Henry Surtees, Justin Wilson, Blaze Alexander, Adam Petty, Kenny Irwin Jr., Tony Rooper... Each of them paid the biggest price for racing to become a little safer.
But I still want it without such a price. Like with Fangio. At 84 years old.
