The switch makes the S58 feel ancient in some respects (auto start stop for example); and interestingly fuel efficiency is almost the same, despite the displacement, weight and form factor differences. This last thing blows my mind, frankly

I think the S58 is just a thirsty engine overall. I’m getting the same MPG in my ’25 M4 Competition xDrive as I did in my 575hp supercharged V8 AWD F-Type R
