dont run a plate registered to your bmw on a jeep. here in CA, the police have automatic plate scanners in their cars running at all times that displays the latest registration date along with the make and model of the vehicle to which it is registered. a little story to explain why this idea is awful:
I had a personalized plate on my e92 that I had just acquired. It was registered with the DMV to my vehicle, but not the police database, yet. I was pulled over by an officer with his gun drawn in my face because my windows were tinted and my plate showed as unregistered to my vehicle type. (he thought the car was stolen, and I dont blame him)
