I'm having questions regarding my fuel consumption. I recently move back to Hong Kong (for a semester) and had to use my E93 323i. Since the engine is much smaller than my E92 M3, I'd expect my fuel consumption to be way lower, but I was shocked when the gauge read 18.4 l/100km = 12.78mpg!!!!!!!! I took it to the dealer.... they said nothing was wrong with the car. Remembering the top gear episode in which they show an M3 being more fuel efficient than a Prius depending on the driving style, I tried to drive the car as soft as I could. The fuel consumption still won't budge. My commute also mainly consist of highways (so it's not like I am constantly stuck in stop-go traffic). Wtf is going on?
