Post and Riposte
If one finds a thread tiresome, I would suggest not posting on that thread. I think what some of the posters really were saying were "Ban this thread, because some comments made offend my sensibilities."
BTW, being a newbie should be an excuse for posting about a previously discussed topic. Also, number of posts, or time on this forum do not make one an expert or authority on what topics are important in life. In fact, it may be evidence of the contrary.
