Android Auto Route Visible in Head-Up Display

My BMW doesn't support Android Auto, so I try to use the built-in navigation where possible since I really like seeing the navigation steps in my head-up display. Just wondering if you can still see this if you use Android Auto and the Google maps? Or does it only work with the BMW navigation?

My 2025 228 xDrive supports wireless Android Auto and does display navigation from Google Maps in the heads-up display.

Thanks for that info! That's really good to know that I wouldn't lose that functionality. Now just need to buy a newer BMW maybe haha
