Driving home to OH from KY yesterday, passed a lowboy flatbed on I-75 with what had to be a Russian T-90 tank. Gun and running gear was removed, was covered in rusty fire scorch marks - just the hull and turret. Tried to get a picture but traffic at the I-275 merge was too much to try it.

Strange - and was definitely a T-90.

Probably heading to one of the ranges at Ft. Knox or Ft. Campbell. Or Bragg if it was heading in the other direction.

Doubt it's the same tank. But I imagine we have more than we need to know the weak points now. But then again the day's of the A-10 are drawing to a close.

Not it. This one was basically a burnt out hulk. But same thing. This makes me feel better knowing that I was not hallucinating.

I'd like to think that we would revive the A-10 program. Nothing beats it. F-15E, F-16CG (not the CJ) and F-18E are the next thing in line, and too fast to get down in the weeds.
