When carjackers tried to steal her car at a gas station *Melissa-Smith* from Wisconsin decided to fight back !!!

Congratulations girl !

I'm sure most of us guys don't have the balls to do it ,while she looks really cute !

Not smart on her part. It looks cool because it worked in her favor but that could've been deadly.

I have a hard time congratulating someone for fighting off carjackers when they got the car because she left the keys in the car. Less stupid actions by the general public would avoid a lot of problems.

I don't leave my keys in my car so I am far less likely to end up in this scenario. Guy jumps in my car and I call the police not jump on the hood.

I am also not willing to risk my life over a car that will be replaced by insurance.

This sounds like your American insurances are awesome ?

Over here insurance works otherwise ..When our cars are one year old that's - 10% value the insurance will cover , 2 year old - 20% , 3 year old - 30 % ect...
I would jump on my car as well ..

And *IF* the police would find your car after X time...In what condition you think your car would be ?
I'm sure your car would be never the same again !

You've never left your keys in the car at a gas station? If I'm literally right next to the car I generally don't bother.

We all have, but its the new thing, they drive up crouch low and mostly steal something from in the car while you are distracted. The guy jumps back into the getaway car. If she doesn't have push to start then she should have had the car off. With my car the keys never leave my pocket so when I turn the car off it's not possible to steal it the way it happened to the cutie in the video.

Yes Wisconsin has these laws. But if she pulled a gun on them the headline could just as easily have ended up "3 killed in shootout at Wisconsin gas station after attempted carjacking."
