Locked out of my 15 year old account

Hello everyone, I have not had a BMW for a few years now. I went dormant on this forum for a while. I am ordering a G80 and when to get into my account. Every password I ever thought I had didnt work. I tried the password reset and couldn’t get the emails to come through.

At this point I have tried the contact form several times, I have messaged bimmerpost on Instagram and facebook. No no avail, I have not gotten a single response to my messages.

I even tried creating a temporary account so I could make a post, but for over a week it was sitting waiting activation from a moderator. So I ended up using a 3rd email address and created this account and for whatever reason it activated right away.

Anyway, it would be greatly appreciated if one of the mods could please help me out. the account was Definitive or Definitivecars. I had a 328i, then a blue x3 m sport, then an e90 M3 white, and a white X5 and then a Yas f80 M3 and another white X5.

Please help me!!! Thanks

Uh, thanks for the response I guess… Always fun when your first post back after years is asking for help and the first response is a smart ass comment that doesnt help anyone…

Man I miss these forums! Luckily there are some really great people and information here!

You really just need to mention something obvious about how terrible the front of the new M3/M4 is. That'll get their attention. Of course, I suggest you only do that ONCE.

You heard about the $499.99 membership fee they instituted right (that's in USD and not CAD by the way)? If not, they lock your account now unless you pay that fee for each year you've been a member. So I guess you must owe them like $6k right now. Mods got super rich due to this policy and now don't bother to even spend their time logging into an Internet forum.

I am locked out and password email does not go to associated address. So something is definitely wrong. either the email account that it is set up with is not want to use anymore and I didn’t realize or for some reason my email is blocking the password to reset emails. I don’t know what is going on but I basically need it reset to a new email address with a temporary password.

Well I like to continue my long history of mods and builds to all my BMWs on the same account, VS starting fresh with this new g80 with a new account.

Any I posted in the tech help section, over 100 views, not a single moderator response… Im just not getting this.

Same exact thing happened to me, actually. I understand why you want access to the old username, but for me I just created a new account and moved on.

It’s just sad to me that in a community like this, I cant get help. Don’t even understand with my hacked Insta account, that I cant get any help with it. It was for my business. They have millions and millions of users. Here, sub, mil active I would assume.

I’m guessing if I was a business and wanted to sign up to be a sponsor and pay for a year, I would be talking to someone by now!

That's your problem. I am pretty sure TireRack just forgot to cancel this sponsorship years ago and this forum is on autopilot.
