winamp or itunes?
im getting an e1505 on friday and im kinda sick of itunes as my default audio player. a few years back winamp used to be my main application but after i bought an ipod it kinda died down. with winamps new version- 5.34 out and the itunes plug-in i really dont see a reason for itunes anymore. i guess what im asking is which would you rather use if you didnt want two audio players on your laptop.
Edit: there is one reason why id consider keeping itunes- because i love the integrated song preview/purchase feature, and idk if winamp offers the same convinence. |

I used to hate itunes and always use winamp on my pc. But when i finally got my Macbook pro, i started to like itunes. I love how it automatically updates new music i dl into my itunes playlist. No need to add music to your playlist like winamp.

haha winamp... yeah i dont use that anymore.
I use WMP for single songs (i'm feelin like listenin to random songs) and iTunes for playlists & songs from ipod.

Depends what you need truthfully.
When Winamp came out it was great. It was small, free, did not use a lot of memory, could customize it. Was very interactive. But it has slowly died down it seems, atleast for me and others. I personally do not care since I just listen to music in my car or using my iHome(ipod speaker dock). Or if I am on a computer and have to use it. www.pandora.com

Yeahhhh...I'm gonna have to go with itunes. It gives you a list of songs that you possibly might like based on previous music you bought..and it's automatically updated.

Winamp FTMFW!
I downloaded iTunes when I got my laptop(e1705). Used it for about a month and a half before I had enough. Just couldn't get use to it. |

Winamp
I dont do the play list thing... I always listen to one song at a time... it's simple, doesnt take up much resources... and very discreet... I use iTunes just to put music on my Pod... I hate it otherwise... it's HUGE, the "minimized" version is still bigger than all outdoors... blah
