It's in the formula. That thing has been around for ages. I'm too lazy to recall how it's done, but if you follow the formula, you'll get the same 10 or so final numbers from the whole list, and you'll never get the other 89. You can figure it out yourself.

yeah i just realized i fucked up. i thought those symbols were the same as the one in front of nine. i just found nine and counted the symbols quickly. vision fail

The randomly move the symbols around and they place the same symbol on all of the possible outcomes so it just a simple trick, since the outcome is predetermined and there is only a short list of answers. Pick a couple of numbers and then do the math and notice the same symbol is next to each answer.
