Happy 4th of July! message from BMW

I just started my engine to see a “Happy 4th of July!” message appear on my iDrive screen.

Pretty cool! I'm assuming you have a sunshade on your windshield? Picture looks odd to me with the lack of depth.

I got it too. Nice surprise. It was the first time I’ve noticed the ambient lighting changing between red white and blue when I got a seasonal BMW message.

I can’t remember if it always does that (with holiday colors) or if this is a new “enhancement”

I thought it was a nice touch as well (although July 1st for "Canada Day"...pretty much the same video though minus the eagle lol).
