I had a Mexican landlord who brought chilli over for my roommates and me to try. I'm thinking meat and beans but instead it was a greenish soup. My 3 roomies looked at it and passed. I figured wtf its REAL Mexican food. So I take a chip and scoop some dip and taste pretty good. Do that 3 more times and BAM! the fire starts. My eyes start watering and my nose begins to run and I dash into the kitchen and put my face under the faucet. No milk in the joint. So the chilli went straight down the toilet after that. My roomies couldn't stop laughing.

Just an FYI, when there's no milk, grab the salt shaker.

My wife often "pre-loads" the jalapenos with salt just after I roast them on the BBQ. We don't let her do the roasting on the stove any more . . .
