Does it need to be fancy? If not - check out the Corner Bistro. Best burger in NYC and the place is just super cool. One of my favorite places in the city. Located at 331 West 4th Street in the west village.

If you are really trying to impress - check out Le Coucou. Place is insane - bring your platinum card. Located at 138 Lafayette St, just off Howard.

Yeah - realistically looking at $400-$500 to have a great dinner there. I really liked it when my corp amex was paying.

Can also try Uncle Boons. Very eclectic. We are talking Beer Slushies here. Also awesome food. Michelin rated as well, I believe. Try the lamb and the snails if you are adventurous. Amazing! Pretty reasonable - around $100 for two. 7 Spring St - take the spring street subway stop. It's right next to Elizabeth Street Garden.
