George Wendt -- RIP.
Dead at 76.
Of course "just" a TV actor and not even a lead actor in a series but still played a role in the Cheers' sit-com success and popularity. https://www.foxnews.com/video/6373173152112 |

RIP George. Loved him in Cheers.
There was this 1986 horror/comedy movie he was in called "House." He played the nosey neighbor of a famous book writer whose son went missing. The movie also had Richard (Bull) Moll from the TV series "Night Court" in it as the antagonist. Funny movie, my kids loved it. Me too. Last edited by Esteban; 05-21-2025 at 05:38 PM.. |

Cheers was a bit before my time but I did watch some re-runs in syndication and YouTube. I've always laughed at Norm's one liners when he arrived at the bar:
Woody: A beer Mister Peterson? Norm: A bit early isn't it? Woody: For beer??? Norm: No, stupid questions. |
