New Jeep
Got a 2 door wrangler for a different kinda of fun driving experience vs my G87 M2.
Smoking deal on a low mileage 2024 Sport S with tinted hardtop and LED headlight package. Used to have a 4 door and traded it for our family hauler Pilot Trailsport and have been wanting to get a Jeep back ever since. Last edited by Mikesbimmer; 03-29-2025 at 09:50 PM.. |

Nice Jeep. I never liked the four door version even though they are more practical for families. I never liked four door pick up trucks either.

No kidding. If Ram put out a single cab RHO I'd be on it. Crews are like parking a bus. Offer the single, please. 2 door Wrangs, definitely. Throw 3 pedals in for myself.

The H3T really works for what I need it to do. I've said many times on the Forum, if I was forced to pare down to just one vehicle, the H3T would be the one I'd keep.

Looks good OP. I have had lots of Jeeps over the years (10+). Not a big fan of the JLs. Had a '22 JLU on order exact same equipment & options as our '16 JKU that we purchased brand new. The JLU was $18k more expensive than the JKU, and that was at 2% below invoice pricing. The JLU was built but then sat in Jeeps transport parking lot for 3 months, so I told the dealer I pass. Prices keep going up, they appear to be using cheaper materials each generation, and Jeep dealer service is just as bad today as it was when I got my first Wrangler Sahara in 1994.
That said, my son turned 16 this week and can now officially drive his '03 X that we picked up 2 years ago for him. Love how easy the TJs are to work on. We just finished refreshing the entire suspension. He added new wheels & tires, we added a heated seat kit. Next is a full exhaust system that is sitting in the garage & we're going to pick up a soft top. No pointless tech, no software issues to deal with, just pure, uncomplicated top & doors off fun. |

Yep - phone is limited & he has to do all the maintenance and work on his car. Also helps with maintenance on our other vehicles. All my kids (sons and daughters) have helped me work on cars since they were at least 10 yrs old. Nothing like having free labor available and them having the base knowledge to not get taken advantage of. I'd love to see a tech/mechanic tell my daughter she's low on blinker fluid

Haha thanks! I just wanted the novelty of a 2 door haha. It’s kinda a pain with getting my kids in and out but worth it and they are way more obssessed with it than my M2. It’s fun.

Definitely love the Jeep. They are the true worry less ride in my opinion. I can run over the largest pothole, park it anywhere and not worry about door dings as much, they will drive up the side of a mountain, literally.. the more snow the better. Just a total opposite of a sports car like an M. Great add to the auto quiver.
