Classic. I like them. We had a 79 635csi, highly modded, for 10 years. Also a 73 Bavaria. But my time with them was enough. Have a 75 2002 that I plan to restore — much smaller and simpler.

well, its a 3 owner car, now 4 being me. last owner babied it for 25 years, paint and body is excellent, interior is very nice, not perfect but I would rate it a 7.5 out of 10, all original. 160k miles, runs excellent, no leaks, all records, only issue is the AC sucks but I am getting it updated to current AC system and the radio is a little noisy, however, the seller was great and told me of issues etc, very stand up guy, he was sad to see her go but I am very glad he did
an surprisingly for a car that hit 160k miles today its very tight, no rattles and everything works

What did you and/or your shop decide on the details for the AC upgrade? How did they set the expectations for cooling at idle or speed?

Ok, just generally curious, I help maintain a friend's 1988 M6 and interested in what people are doing at this point.

Last time I drove it, the AC worked ok but maybe not ice cold. Not sure how good these were when new?

Excellent find! Congrats!

I’d be interested in your thoughts after a couple of months driving it around.

I love how it drives, suspension is tight, no rattles, cars very tight, no leaks, etc runs like a champ, other than AC but im replacing that whole system with the newest so that should make it near perfect for me
