Who can remind me what I bought these for

I'm cleaning out and recognizing my garage and I found 4 of these dual sided bolts. I remember needing them for something years ago, but my old brain can't dig out the details. Anyone recognize them?

I don't think it's for a car. Looks like what you anchor into wood permanently to hang something you don't want to be permanent. Looks like a small version of what you'd hang plywood with to cover windows if you lived in hurricane country.

My guess is something off a valve cover. One side looks like it would screw into plastic.

I think you're right. I believe they are inner valve cover studs for an n52. I've done a couple of valve cover replacements on my e83 and e91
