any of the pre mixed stuff tastes pretty good. muscle milk is by far the best tasting. myoplex isnt too bad. if your looking for powder i would go with syntha-6 or freak fix for taste.
for weight gainer/protein i like muscle juice. it doesnt mix really thick so its easy to drink

For those consuming Muscle Milk, peep out the cholesterol level...
IMO it's garbage..the calorie count is high, and the protein content is low...they just have a catchy name. I use whey isolate because it fits my bill...I'm looking for something that has (per scoop)..~100 cals and ~25g of protein. This is what I'm working with right now. I go through each bucket in 2 weeks max so price point becomes an issue too. MGN's stuff is on promotion at muscleandstrength.com right now for $18 a bucket and comes on various flavors. Tastes great too. The 4Ever is from the local Vitamin World, but at $30 a pop, I'm going to switch it out for a comparable flavor of MGN. I got Cinnamon Bun and Chocolate Mint coming in the mail on Tuesday. ![]() ![]() |

Forget best tasting. They throw so much shit in these things it's ridiculous. Check the laundry list of ingredients.
The cleanest protein powders from my experience are made by Jarrow's and Jay Robb's. They come without artificial ingredients and derived from healthy cows. They aren't short on taste either, but I prefer unflavored sweetened with stevia or a fruit depending upon what I want my blood sugar to do. |

optimum fan here. rather than being the 'best tasting' i would take a good look at the facts on the label... some of them do have high cholesterol and fat numbers.
+1 on muscle milk being bad for you, although it does taste delicious. is syntha 6 really worth it? I've tried a few BSN products in the past but wasn't sure if they were worth the premium. |
