Finally got my sponsorship sorted out for my trip to KSA.

I'll be going to Dubai first, then Riyadh, Jeddah, Mekkah (Mecca) and Medina. This is my first time in the kingdom and UAE... any recommendations from people who have visited or lived there?

Thanks

Never been. Would be way to pricey and dangerous at the moment.

But Dubai owns. Although a lot of the massive things will be done soon. There is still crazy malls and shit open now. Take a lot of pics because you will see crazy ass things.

Eh, it isn't that dangerous there. Dubai is a pretty sweet place, I am gonna do some ATVing on the sand dunes, riding camels, and sand skiing. I am also staying at the Burj al Arab, which should also be quite awesome/fun.

i've been! i was born there

i dont know how it looks like, it's been over 15 years since i been there. are you going there for pleasure?
are you a muslim? if you're not, im not sure you can get into Mecca or Medinah.

Riyadh sucks big time, there's nothing to do, it's literally desert with like 2 towers.

Jeddah is nice, Abha is beautiful place to relax.

it is NOT dangerous anywhere near saudi/qatar/UAE, not one bit. not even in syria, that's just absurd.

Yes, I am Muslim. I am only going to be in Riyadh for 2 nights, so I guess I will just walk around, smoke hookah and drink tea.

Yeah, I know, although some people would disagree (people who know nothing about the KSA other than watching TV and movies). I wouldn't be going if I felt I was in any danger.

my family currently lives in riyadh...there is absolutely nothing to do there....it's real safe though..REAL safe...ppl leave their MBs with the keys in them with their doors open and get something from across the street...just make sure you carry your iqama (national identification) or at least your passport on you at all times, especially if you're young...they check us like crazy...but you have nothing to worry about and be careful with your camera...if you try to take some pics of some girls or ppl you dont know u might get in trouble....lol

Hi Jimmyz, It's nice that you are coming to the kingdom. It's very safe here don't worry at all. honestly there isnt much sites to visit in Riyadh but Dubai I am sure that you will have a great time there. And dont forget to visit Waild Wadi water park and The Mall Of The Emarits, tha mall is very nice and inside it you will find Ski Dubai(http://www.skidxb.com/English/default.aspx).At the main gate of the mall you will find very nice cars. And the most important is to visit Dubai Autodrome(http://www.dubaiautodrome.com/genera...id=106&sm=1058) and drive Audi RS4 .
