It's to do with religious Ascension Day when Friday is a non race car day so that homes and hotels can re stock with food and supplies for the race weekend.

It was fun watching Sainz going full bananas in both FP1 and FP2.
Leclerc had some catching up to do having missed FP1 but he put in some awesome laps in Fp2.
Be great to see a red front row for the race...that would mix things up nicely.
