Looks like pic rotated. Stucco wall, wood roof/eave. So it is overhead. At least that’s how I’m seeing it.

Ok that makes sense. I haven’t either but was really confused when I thought it was the floor.

Any other pictures? Hard time judging scale, but I would guess there is an opening facing the outside and that it is a cliff swallow bird nest or similar

Yeah sorry pic rotated 180 when I uploaded from phone, not sure why.

I don't see any openings and it doesn't have the "hanging" thread like a wasp nest. It honestly looks like a bundle of staples glued together and painted over I've never seen a nest like that before. Nothing flying or crawling in or out, and no hole for it to be any kind of bird nest it appears completely sealed (or the hole is into the wood).

And it literally looks like it was painted over. Like "not my job" style. I just moved in so there's fresh paint on a lot of stuff that they gave it a quick spruce up for sale.



I figure I might just buy some wasp spray and raid, spray it and run, and if nothing swarms out then just knock it down with a broom.

Time to suit up and exterminate
