The only reason why my points carry little weight to you guys is because you're too far gone with your hate towards Merc. But don't think for a second I let emotions or bias alter my view on the facts. I've had to do research presentations and defenses (where I either was heavily emotionally invested in the research or topic, or with topics I did not agree with) against people with with PhDs where every fact and talking point is scrutineered, and yet I had to remain neutral or face loosing myself with emotion to the point where I no longer would be able to remain factual and thus disqualified or penalized. I have also taken many supplemental courses in philosophy, logical thinking, and sociology so I know how to think properly. I've worked hard to try and remain, cool, calm, calculated, neutral and composed in everything I do because that helps me with my career in science.


But like I said before, I hold no resentment towards to any of you guys. I just like having debates about F1 because it's better than watching it alone. So if Merc, Honda or any other team does give you a chance to look under the body cover Lemme know lol.

Don't take this as an insult but you sound a little too robotic...Pick a team or driver you like personally. It's so much more fun and engaging.

IMHO, if you were to go the favorite driver route pick a younger guy. That way you can ride the ebbs and flows of an entire career. "Drive to survive" gives a lot of insight into their personalities. Kimi has been my driver his entire career. But, my team is Ferrari. With Kimi leaving next year I've yet to decide on LEC or SAI. I like them both but don't know if I can go hardcore fanboy with either yet.

For 50K maybe Max should have pulled on the steering wheel

Max was never gonna make that corner being on the inside line. Even if he turned the wheel more, he would’ve understeered off the track.

He went in too hot because he didn’t want to be passed. I understand racers not wanting to give an inch but it was sloppy driving especially after weaving all over the straight like a child.

For a split 0.1 sec. HAM's front wing scuffed MAX's side-skirt .

And where's MAX steering wheel pointing at ?
MAX pulled his steering wheel almost completely to the left to make it in the turn .

But he didn't made it ,by lack of grip because his tyres were completely overheated .

At that speed ,HAM's move wasn't possible there on the outside 'in the turn .
IMHO. For sure it was an incident , but seen from MAX's side it looks completely otherwise .

Ham on the outside was definitely going to make that corner with having the front grip.

It can be seen that Max is steering away from Ham while Ham is steering into him.
