The SIM setup shows a 0.3 sec. faster car but at the track the car is 0.3 sec. slower..
That really s@cks for YUKI and MAX .
What YUKI said about the RB21 => https://www.m3post.com/forums/showpost.php?p=31985300&postcount=347

Well maybe the anonymous source(s) mistook Lawson for Vestrappen.

Honestly , I couldn't agree more

RB has (still)! work to do to give the RB21 a predictable driving behavior.
If you seek the limits in this car ,you can crash at any moment .
As you say ,It's a true miracle that MAX can handle this Frankenstein car .

I can't say 'one good word about the Frenchman Pierre Waché ...

So why didn’t they try this with Lawson instead of saying the car was too much for him and bringing up Yuki?

I have no idea but I am sure they did to a degree and it still didnt work for him. I do think Yuki is better than Lawson and deserved the seat over him. That being said, the long run pace, Yuki was half a second slower than Max. He's not going to fare all that much better than anyone else has against Max in the same car.

I don't want to be this night in the Alpine box

Same situation in the Red Bull box to kill the Frankenstein car curse...
The RB21 got 3 Suzuka upgrades to make the car more drivable and controllable .
And the car (still)! s@cks ...(as usual)!

I can't stand the French idiot Pierre Waché anymore (!)
That guy belongs in a Napoleon Bonaparte comedy movie .
What a mess...

YUKI can't say what he really feels and thinks of the RB21 .
What he says is a sort of filtering ..

We'll see it soon enough , tomorrow morning in the qualifying.
But so far in the practice , it looks better with YUKI than what Slowson did with the car ..
This time the choice was right , but think the HULK (Nico Hulkenberg) would be good as well..

HULK could have been brought in but Honda money for Yuki in a Honda was the final arm twister.

Really amazing how quickly the rb car went to crap once Newey stopped putting his fairy dust on the vehicle. Crap car that happens to suit max, but also now slow relative to the competition. Doesn't Honda have the strongest engine on the grid now, too? (definitely isn't Mercedes with this engine freeze). Which makes this even more alarming.

Really shows the importance of aero expertise to succeed. A dominant car trending towards midfield within one year, despite having a top 3 driver on the grid and the best engine within the same regs.

Honestly no other excuse /way to look at it

I wouldn't say it suits Max, Max can 'cope' with it and handle it with his talent.

Max has been very vocal about it's flaws in the media and the need to improve those flaws instead of swapping out drivers....and that the car won't be a WDC winning car.

I don't think the front end bias is the problem, it's the unpredictable nature of the chassis, the very narrow operating window and it's bad performance handling bumps/curbs that are the problem. For all drivers, not just Max.

General consensus is that Mercedes have (and always had) the strongest and most reliable engine on the grid. But Mercedes, Ferrari and Honda are really close.

The RB21 got 3 new Suzuka upgrades

1- A new lower wishbone of the rear suspension
2- A new exit duct
3- A new PU cover

There's a new Suzuka (panic)! weather update

Very interesting . Source is the Dutch GP33 article => https://gp33.nl/f1-nieuws/het-weerbe...iek-in-paddock

Yes, the car understeers then oversteers mid corner. Remember last year in Qatar I believe where Max had the biggest sudden, snap oversteer just before the end of the lap in quali? Anyone else on the grid, literally anyone else would have been in the wall with a totaled car but Max saved it quite well.
MB have the strongest power unit. Honda is said to have the best energy deployment but certainly don't have the most powerful ICE unit.
