Just watched a movie I hadn't seen in like 23 years.

It is called Disappearance. I remember it was a straight to TV movie for TBS I think. It is such a bad movie I found it entertaining. It is a hodgepodge of scary things and situations that none of get answered. It stars Harry Hamlin. I randomly found that it is free on Amazon Prime right now.

Great question and great premise from my understanding:

So I also read that whatever planet this is, there is a specific, never before seen creature or predator that this young predator is seeking after and hunting. However, he himself is also being hunted by the planets humans. He also will get aid from a Cybernetic being.

Keep in mind... This movie is from the same guy who did PREY. Which was excellent and critically acclaimed.

PREY was awful, it was acclaimed because indigenous so it was untouchable. I found it stone cold boring and predictable and flat. As was the one before it.

The last good one was Predators, that was excellent.

The demographics didn't have anything to do with it's greatness. It was a very well written, acted, action, drama, no matter who was cast.
I've been a fan of the Alien/Predator franchise since inception. PREY was excellent. period.
