Ferrari was faster in 2017 and 18 Redbull in 2021 until the end of the season - Lewis was just a faster driver. FIA tried to slow Lewis down in 2021 with rake regulations, and allowing RB to exceed the budget cap, but Lewis absolutely can compete.

And the rest of the comment is hyperbolic nonsense. There have been 3 races, 1 of them was a DSQ and Lewis won 1 sprint. Charles has been at Ferrari for 5 years, and we expect Lewis with literally no off season testing (sims don't count - look at Yuki and Carlos) and just be perfect? That's a retarded standard to set.

I do think that Max is more consistent and very fast. Max at worst in a sub optimal setup is still on the podium or very close to it. His sweet spot is very wide.

Lewis at this point is very peaky. I think when he's not happy (and part of it comes down to chasing perfection too much) he's meh in qualifying but the pace is there.
But when he's on, he's literally the best of the best and completely untouchable.

Hopefully he finds his comfort fast, I want to enjoy him winning and battling it out with Max.

As far as Lando goes his happy go lucky approach I like and doesn't come over as too serious like someone possessed which I see for instance in Hadjar and we need more like Lando in the sport, I like that with the way he jokes off track with Max then both trying to outsmart each other on he track using every trick in the book and long may it continue like that.

Max was beaten 7 times in a row by Lewis, and Lewis didn't need the entire FIA behind him to do it. I'm not sure how you can say Max is good and Lewis bad when Lewis is clearly the only other driver on the grid who can beat Max.

Russell isn't there, Charles isn't there, Lando and Oscar will never be there. So if Lewis is trash, Max has never beaten anyone of value (and I will stand by that on the 2024 comment) and basically has empty wins.

The main reason I like Lando.

He doesn't quite have that selfish attitude that Max and some others have, but neither does Lew. I don't think it's necessary to be a championship winning driver.

Mate honestly , that makes absolutely no sense...

In 2008 MAX was a only a "11 year" old kid in his kart but he was already European and World Champion karting while LEW won his first F1 WDC in 2008.

MAX was 17 and still a kid when he debuted in F1 in 2015 and won his first F1 race (!)
That was a historic F1 record . Don't know who can beat that ..
And a new Guinness World Record was born (!)
