Could not get into Severance, we tried more than one episode, but it wasn't clicking. Started Mob Land, I like it but the wife can't understand what half the words are. We finished The Bondsman pretty quickly, it was entertaining. We are going to finish up The Last of Us tonight, it is surprisingly good for a zombie series. 1923 was okay, but there were some pretty far fetched scenes that made it seem hokey.

We finished Bosch Legacy and hate to see it go, but looking forward to next spinoff.

Finishing up 1923. Seems they are dragging out the S&M stuff w/ Whitfield but not a bad show, just a little drawn out. Feels it'll end abruptly in the final episode, too.

Also, Dalton will forever be Simon Skinner, slasher of prices, to me.

You made quick work of that. Still on Episode 1. Too much content, not enough time I suppose.

Yep, we waited for almost all episodes to be available before starting and worked through them over a couple of weekends and a few weeknights.

We have now started Your Neighbors & Friends and so far it's entertaining. We have a few others to watch we haven't started yet, including Happy Face and MobLand.

Finished The Bondsman in 2 days. WTF with the 30min or less episodes... I feel ripped off. We enjoyed it though, but nothing amazing, feel like a million other shows we've watched.

Don't really have anything lined up.

Finished Bosch Legacy, excellent per usual. Not sure how I feel about what's next. At the very least, I'll check it out. All in all, I don't feel cheated after 10 seasons. I don't really feel like it ever fell off which is incredibly rare in a series.

Have been watching seasons of Homeland in between other stuff. Apparently had never watched this. Finished season 3... I think.

Also just finished Eternaut... really liked this one... I was thinking this is right up my ally, but feels soooo familiar. Then later in the season it became clear this was a Falling Skies knock off. Did some research and it seems Falling Skies was actually inspired by Eternaut which is some Argentinian comic or something like that. Anyways since Falling Skies is one of my favorite shows of all time I definitley enjoyed Eternaut.

We started the fifth season of You on Netflix. Probably should have ended after season 3. Or maybe season 2. Also started Mobland last night but fell asleep about 3/4 of the way through Episode 1. Hard to understand the dialogue. Will try it again.

I started Mobland too and I agree, very hard to understand.

I really enjoyed Landman. Looking forward to season 2.

I've been watching Mobland and don't have a problem understanding what they're saying, but I've been watching different shows through BritBox and have gotten used to the accents. Very enjoyable so far. Just finished episode 6.

I really liked her in the Red movies. She also played a great part in 1923.

If you like Britbox, I recommend Acorn.
It has shows from Canada, New Zealand, Australia and England.

We re-watched the second half of episode 1 and turned captions on. I usually dislike captions, but in this case they helped bridge the dialogue gap and keep up with everything instead of wondering WTF someone just said and missing something else. There are still a handful of words and phrases used in England that I don’t follow, but at least I know what is being said and not wondering if I misheard it.

Also watched the second episode. It is very good so far.

It cracks me up how often they use the C U Next Tuesday word. I can curse like a truck driver but I never use that word.

It's different with the UK. I've been around so many people that say it that it doesn't even faze me anymore. In fact my sister got my wife coffee mugs because she says it so much now. She's not a brit but after hearing the word used properly in so many UK movies series over the years she's picked it up.

So it's the same meaning, just more accepted than here?

Exactly. I had a partner at work in the 90's. She moved to Canada from Scotland and swore like a sailor, she'd drop C U Next Tuesday with shocking regularity. The other women on my platoon would lose their shit. For me, it's just a word like any other. Embrace it. Have fun with it.
