Sure that's understandable as George just has a fraction of Max's built up fortune but enough to move into gold encased Monaco to keep an eye on Toto to keep taking TP out of him the longer he delays his contract

i now think Max is staying at RB. he has said repeatedly he wants a team that can offer him more than F1.

RB is a team that is more than F1. they are involved in anything from coffee to chess, flying to cycling. there are reports that the Horner sacking would allow the Verstappen brand to take over some of the F1 business. Maybe Jos will be the new Horner.

i would go to Merc, easy decision. unless they are negotiating to partner George who doesn't want to play number 2 ... causing some "fine print" issues. even then, Toto has experience in handling this in the past. there is absolutely no reason to stay in RB.

Jos never had something to say in MAX's F1 career . Raymond Vermeulen , yes as he his MAX's manager.
MAX (27) is not a child anymore as he is a dad now with a jet and a big yacht in Monaco.
Jos had some heavy discussions with Horner about the lacking car performance and sometimes about the wrong RB race strategy.
That's why Jos was banned from the Red Bull box (more than once)!

MAX to Benz ?
I couldn't agree more .The 2026 Merc PU will be a beast . And Benz would be a new gold mine for him with a complete new Benz merchandise line ...

If Max had any balls and since some nut swingers in here think he can podium with a 15 th place car, he should go to Caddy or Audi and make them a winner from the jump. That would send a lighting bolt through the series in a great way !!!!! Him going to Mercedes and winning 5 titles is such a fucking snooze fest and been there done that already. Yawn!!!!!! Just saying it would be FUN times with him in the Caddy

If he wants to win next year, I am not sure if RB has the car to cater that for him next year versus say the MB with the new upgrades.

Stability at management level is another factor, is Mekies compatible with Max, forget about Helmut and Jos for a moment...
