The last few minutes Jeremy drives the Aston Martin V12 Vantage, and makes a comment that will surely touch the heart of many car enthusiasts.

It does make me well up a bit, but you can't keep good car makers (and consumer demand for outrageous product) down.

Sadly, it will be some time before we see the car that tops the Mac F1, Bugatti Veyron, Porsche Carrera GT, etc. but it will happen. After the muscle car era ended people talked about the end of the performance car, it took some time but look at where we are today. Our generation will revere the great cars that were developed during the "Super Car" era, just as our fathers had reverence for that great cars of the "Muscle Car" era, and the "Sports Car" era, and just as their fathers revered the great cars that we consider antiques, Dusenbergs, Cadillac V-16, MB 540Ks.

Every generation of car enthusiasts has a type of car that defines them, to us the "Super Cars" will be the best cars ever, but something "better" will come along...we will all just be old by then and say that "it" isn't as good as the cars in "our day"

There was even a time when we thought (in the US) that we would never be able to buy a new convertible but the car makers found a way to satisfy the law makers and chop the top off.

Be not afraid...just save some money so you can have the next best thing.

In all honesty , that's not what matters here. Its the statement he makes , and how ,in my opinion, can be applied to many scenarios in the world today.

Thanks for posting the vid. I enjoyed it very much, and I too felt the emotions.......Yet I'd have to agree with the quote below.

we already have one that bests all those cars. it is called the Ultimate Aero TT and it is made right here in America:thumsup: Faster than all of them. Jay leno did a review on Jays garage on nbc.com about it. Unless Obama or the EPA gets the power to shut down all performance car production for all manufacturers the car companies will find a way to make us smile.

We've been discuss this before....I'm not so sure he's NOT driving tho....
the speedo and tach on AM is different anyhow....

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=288274&highlight=Aston&page=2

But...there's always a possibility that he's driving on a different road when they film the interior.....and the exterior shot was taken somewhere else....

I think its easier for TG to just call up Aston and borrow a car than make all the green background fake stuff.....

we all know how easy they can get a hold of exotic cars...:D
