Yes, there will be a significant weight reduction with solid state batteries. But keep in mind, that the benefit will be around 25-30% of mass with the same capacity. So a 700kg Battery today will still be around 500-ish kg. So an EV could go from 2.2 tons to around 2 tons. Still heavy.

Hybrid is not EV. BEV’s are heavy, boring, lose value like a rock, try to pump in fake excitement.

Hybrids like 918, La Ferrari, ZR1x, P1, 911 GTS T-hybrid, etc. hold value and are fun.

It’s business suicide coming out with a “sporty” EV today.
