hate when people say that. Almost every "artsy" program is available on both systems. It's not the tool you use its how you use it

I'm an average user and have both mac (personal) and pc (work). It all depends heavily on OS. Windows 7 is marginally better than anything Microsoft had to offer in the past. I'd say it's not as easy to use as Mac, but wins in terms of software availability. Overall, Windows 7 is on par with Snow Leopard for me.
Fair enough.... I think the biggest advantage of W7 for the average user is the new troubleshooting features which make things much easier to figure out for the less experienced, and 99% of the time the network troubleshooter resolves any issues on its own. Definitely useful.

All I can say, is that most (if not all) technologies that are used for life saving situations are not powered by apple. Im talking about anything that is to be used in serious situations. Ever seen ATC systems run by Macs? any medical equipment built with apple technology? military/rescue equipment runs on what?

Ive never seen Apple products deployed in any sort of life threatening or life saving situation

Thats because they can't afford it, and apple computers were never built to be office computers. Same reason you don't see them at the thousands of cubicles..

Those type of companies have full IT people on staff to continually fix them.

All PC's are not better than Macs.

I'm willing to concede that custom built machines can be built more powerful than Macs, but I am not going to agree that an entry level eMachines from Best Buy is superior to the current entry level machine at the Apple store.

I agree with infinitekid, no one is going to win anything. I'm not trying to convert or convince anyone. I use a Mac, I don't think it is any better than a PC, I just know I prefer the OS Apple provides.

iPads are so fucking annoyingly limited...just how Apple likes it. That's why Apple can choke on a dick and die in a fire. Their products fucking suck in comparison to other companies.

And lmao, but no iPads are not replacing paper manuals on airplanes. What a crock of a shit.

brb no free pretzels or peanuts on this flight, but here sir please feel free to use this ipad to see what to do in case of emergency

Ok I'm a bit worried that the pilot needs a manual for the plane. Shouldn't he/she already know all that shit? I don't want to be on board with a guy using some L2fly app on an iPad as he goes....
