I think the F stands for fugly. They ruined the sexy IS. The "new" lines just don't match the body and the stacked exhaust? It may have some juice to it, but it's still ugly.

Who wouldn't like a 400hp V-8 in their car? A shot across the bow of the M3, but probably only comes with a slushbox!

Looks to Toyotaish to me. Plus it will be pricey and basically make me realize I should just get an M3 if I want that.

I agree..........the car just doesn't look balanced. I'm not too into Toyota's either. I've driven the new IS (..and old IS), but those products are just too soft/numb/unresponsive for my tastes. Nice cars though.

I always disliked toyota and lexus but have been impressed as of late. For example, drove my mothers V-6 brand new RAV4 the other day and I was blown away by the room in it, the way the REAR seats can be reclined manually, and the back area has so much versitility as far as cargo and stuff. Teh seats are really comfortable. But more importantly, the steering wasn't too sensitive, much better weighted then I have ever felt ina toyota, and the egnine has PLENTY of power.

When it comes time to buy an M3, I will give the IS-F a shot.

i honestly.... really... dont feel this car. it screams rice... (imho). i just dont like it. too japanese for me... i like the clean smooth(or hard) lines of a bmw... this, just is not to my taste.

but, for those who dont understand me: the "F" here stands for fuckin'ugly!

....plus. its a lexus. u know how boring that thing probably is? no where near as spirited as our BMW's.....

That car is a joke really it is. It's for retired folk who want a spark in their life.

No manual tranny option and the body kit and exhaust are little too ricey for my tastes. I really like the IS350 but again the lack of manual tranny took it off my radar.

One reason to never buy it:
You can only get an automatic. Its not a sport sedan unless you can get a stick. Leaxus and Benz both need to learn this obvious fact.

the new rav drives very good. My in laws got one. The 6 cyl is 263 hp if remeber right. Its a very quick car for an SUV. They got the anemic 4 banger though.
