As he did, I also would have pushed hard to get paid before I split. After being caught up on payment not sure there was a good reason to stay, back surgery or not. Guessing it's not that much fun for him to be there at this point.

It does suck but I rather see a 100% Kimi in the first two races next season than the remaining two in this one.

boo! Would have loved to see Kimi try and win one more with Lotus. However, as stated previously, I'd rather have him 100% healthy for next year.

I think its Kimi giving the 2 fingered salute to Lotus. I don't think its ever been about the money, its about respect...being forced to go to your employer two years in a row and having to fight to get your pay - thats just wrong.

Yeah, when you have a shiester who manages a group who owns over 1/3 of the Lotus, and has screwed over numerous business entities over money, it doesn't give you a lot of motivation to perform on the track, or elsewhere for that matter.

The news is a blow to the team who are in competition with Ferrari for third place in the constructors’ championship. They are yet to announce who will replace Raikkonen for the balance of the season.
