Neither the 265/35 or 295/35 is oem for an F80 in 19". I learned something new today.

God forbid you would have looked at the link in classifieds that would have answered all your questions, or post 245 in this thread, but u have a history of that.

You are an expert revisionist.

Sorry you feel I should buy whatever you want me to buy at that moment.

You know not a damn thing about me but I know this about you:

You come off as a jackass. Period.

Good. I'd never fucking do business with a prick such as yourself anyway. Your so "in the cool kid club yo" because you have a mythical source for continental tires. Yay. Congratulations. You know the fucking sport contact wizard.

If you can't help people find them then please shut the fuck up with your better-than-everyone tone that oozes out of your poor quality of a person pores.

Adios have fun with the sea level rise down there.

I know, people like you think I have no idea what I'm talking about. The same type of people who think the cost of something determines it's absolute quality. It's the test results that determine absolute. The cost is 4.7x cheaper per tire. Even if you turn through 2 full sets running hard you have 3-4-5 sets left for 1 4S. I constantly run my vehicle hard and it can contact no problem. The only problem with the front being SL than XL is.. it's easily susceptible to bulging at stock recommended vehicle PSI. I run at 42 PSI cold and it runs fine. Doesn't leak as much as air as 35psi. I haven't aired the tires in a couple weeks (driving every day) and the PSI remained 1-2 the same. You get one hole in the expensive tire then the tire is done. I have spacers and a 0.0" camber adjustment on the front. As well as 0.00" toe. The car likes 42psi I think.

Michelin has only test data thus far and will not release comparison to only other Michelin product.

Upcoming Independent reviews will not test a Summer tire against an All Season tire either.

You have to decide what type Tire category you want to look at.
Seeing the raw data from the tests and comparing it myself would be just fine. I guess I can research that. Those A/S3+ sure do hook well for an AS and they really don't look like an AS.

I know that the PSS / PS4 are better, but I'm curious how much better.

But you're still slow, that's a fact. And you sound like a 12-year old trying justify a PS4 purchase, over an XBOX One. Who cares what tires you feel are best for you, that's your own opinion/entitlement. Who wants to buy tires that you can't easily replace? Nonsense..

You're probably the type of guy who buys tires and talks to the moon about how good they are, yet drive your 3 series sedan like Mr.Bean. Honestly, buy what you feel is good for you, stop trying to justify your reasonings and convince the board of your convictions. The only data I'm not seeing, is your car and the comparison tests you've done to sum up your personal opinion.

Over/out.

In what way is the cup 2 overrated? Cup 2 for track use far exceeds mpss in terms of grip and endurance..

Indeed. I have to say, Pilot Sport Cup 2's are some of my favorite tires on the track. Absolutely sickeningly good grip.

The only other tire I find grippier (without being a racing slick) are the Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R's on my McLaren.

They last half as long as PSC2's though. :(

If you can get good pricing on the Cup 2's, they're hard to beat as a drive to, track, and drive home tire.

I have read a few reviews on tire rack.com about the Cup 2 tire and the reviews were not great. I have no personal experience with using this tire. I am open for comments for sure.

The cup 2 is an comp tire, any bad review were probably based upon
1) treadwear
2) cold weather / bad weather conditions

If you only use this tire for daily driving and no track, then yes it's a horrible tire because of the initial +/- $2k price and the extremely low treadlife. (4-8k is what I've seen.. shorter if you do many track events).

Daily driver tire that can see LIGHT track duties = PSS/ PS4S
Track tire that can see light street duties = Cup 2

So these are coming out in March and look what Costco has going on February 16 - March 12, 2017 :)

I doubt they have the right equpment to mount 35 profile tires or tape weights. :slap: Even if they did, they'd probably scratch your wheels.

Some should try and get 275/30/19 and 295/30/19 on their e92 M3 and report back

It's a pity the Michelin PS4S aren't being launched in 18" sizes. Perhaps they will down the track.

I'm hopefully going to go with these exact sizes, or possibly a 265/30R19 front (slightly worried about rubbing issues with the 275).

Been hitting up my local Costco Tire Center every week to see if they've gotten a heads up if they will get the PS4S in March; they said they havn't received any mention or word yet. I'll ask to speak to the manager next time, since I have a feeling the people I spoke to just don't have a clue either way and arn't the ones who correspond with the Michelin regional representative.

Do they have the right equipment to mount your tires? Also, I think they might only sell you stock sizes that came with your car; 245/35/19 and 265/35/19. Let's us know how it goes with the manager.
