Lots of places are pretty good. I used to go to the Blond Giraffe when they had a shop in Miami but that was quite a while ago. They still have a shop in the Keys.

I think you have to write off that trip to Key West. Irma pretty much wiped out the Keys. Even if you can get a hotel room, I doubt you would enjoy the trip given the widespread damage and outages.

Good luck - hope you have a great time. Kinda crazy they won't offer a refund under the circumstances. Surely there is a resident with a damaged home or nonlocal contractor rebuilding who would take the room off their hands.

That sucks must be a smaller hotel, most big chains always allow you to cancel unless you took a reduced pay in advance rate.

Hopefully you can still enjoy some water sports or that the beaches are looking better by then.
