BMW has ranked 11th in the 2018 J.D. Power New Vehicle Initial Quality Survey (IQS) which measures the initial quality of vehicles during the first 90 days of ownership.

This is a separate survey than the J.D. Power's Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) which measures the quality of vehicles after 3 years of ownership. BMW ranked 8th in that study for 2018.

Props to the Korean manufacturers...they've come a long way.

Consistently high rankings from Porsche. Considering the 911 GTS at some point. I wonder how it ranks within the Porsche family in terms of reliability.

Every year people get worked up about these stupid JD ratings but they really don't mean zilch.

Fact is that the Asian cars are best and everything else is varying degrees of shaky as far as quality goes.

BEST has a completely different meaning to each and every one of us.

You should maybe change your name to Asianauto !!
