I bet you anything in the M2 CS, they'll squeeze and eliminate just enough stuff to hit the minus 150lb, just so they brag in marketing literature of the weight loss..

Heft that shouldn't of been there in the first place..

I say add another 15k, so 80 - 85k.. Might be DCT only :( The way the head of the M is sounding, it looks like they see the manual as counter-productive to their goals..

Sad..

Unfortunately a lot of people keep referring to M2C as M2 CS online so I bet what you are thinking is accurate.
They are exactly the type of outfit to still be referring to the Comp as the CS.

Im really crossing my fingers for this one. Unfortunately all the fabrication costs for the CF bits will likely get passed on to consumer. +20k over the comp model? Hoping it's more like a 10k premium.

45% premium for CS badge on the M4 Comp. So about $85k for M2 CS.

Take into accout the base M4 has carbon roof, trunk, driveshaft, etc...already baked in. M2 CS theoretically could have larger premium.

Yeah, I don't think a M2CS would be cheap. It's overkill for many M2 buyers. But hey, if they can sell em, go for it.

**********s didn't list the M2 Competition so I'm sure the CS is old info. They would definitely need to have M2C as well as M2 listed since they don't have the same engine or exhaust.

Well, Rennlist speculation is 130k if you can get an allocation.

No way the M2 CS is even close to that price.

FWIW both seem to be announced soon

Embarrassingly bad. An 8 year old could do a better photoshop job. Even an Android developer. Maybe.

$130K for a 718 Cayman GT4? Where's the link for that? That would definitely exclude me.

You could spend that on the last one especially if you went with ceramics and some other stuff.

  • It would be reasonable to expect the US-only M2 Racing (new Spec class?) to appear in early 2020 and the worldwide M2 CSL - in mid-2020 as MY2021, for a one year run.

It's always the case after a new model.
Right that's Done....What's next? Keep everything they like...But let's loosen it up a bit. Where can we go next?

A lightweight model which will still be overweight... lol

L stands for lighterweight, not lightweight.

Don't like S55 at all.

If only they put in S58. It actually makes sense as 240i is already using B58.

But didn't the M2C want to box in the heavyweight category ? Does it box above its weight ? ;)

in my opinion you should launch a project called:

MMM2.

Velvet seats. Iron roof. "All black" wheels that are shiny silver and made of solid steel. AWD. Gas-drop-pop exhaust. Car bone fiber. Alcantara brake pads. Frozen finish windshield. Cyclops angel Eye headlights.
