I can't tell if it is made out of grass? Probably an odd bird if that's the case.

They're african but maybe he got lost. Golden weaver BIRD? Not to be mistaken with Golden weaver spiders, omg don't google that please.

Maybe it's a binary insect that doesn't want to be identified as an insect. That's why no one can figure out what kind of hive it is.
