I "want" a new grille. I look at them online all the time but instead of going to Lowes 1/2 mile away or Home Depot 2 miles away I instead have no new grille.
What are things you need to see, touch, fondle in a Brick and Mortar location?

Things I would not buy on the internets: second hand underwear used toothbrushes or opened gels of any kind otherwise if it has free returns it's game on.
Them tatas do need feelin'.

UncleWede wroteThat's funny. I buy all my clothing online - nearly all of it from Banana Republic for daily wear stuff.Unless I have seen and touched it in brick/mortar, I'm not buying clothing of any kind.
Overall - it fits and I like it about 80% of the time. I'm sure I could return the other 20% for credits or refunds, but it's such a pain in the ass, I just write it off as a loss.
Basically - it means I pay a 20% premium to never have to drive to the store and talk to people. I feel it's money well spent, lol.

Oldgixxer wroteThe original question is a bit skewed. At first, it was things you wouldn't buy on the internet, which would traditionally exclude titties in most situations (at least legally), but then to come in with "what you must see touch and fondle in a brink and mortar store" took the question into another realm.Titties
I agree with Oldgixxer here.

I buy most everything online. I bought a grille that way (Napoleon, great grille). I only go to the stores when I need something today (like stuff for a project on the house that I get at Home Depot), or when it is in stock there but not online (more often these days). I buy my cars online, making the deal via email before I ever set foot in the dealership or visit the seller, subject to inspection and test drive of course. Shoes, clothing, everything else.
Stores are an exercise in frustration (we are in a small market) where stock is limited, quality is low and selection sucks. I don’t like showrooming, so I just take my chances online, and return or donate the errors.

I went to Lowes (for other stuff) and saw a sweet smoker/grill combo I liked. Went home and ordered it online after finding all the coupons and discounts I could get. They delivered it with a small ding on the back of it so got another $100 off.
I'm not in the market for titties at this time, but I sure enjoy window shopping online.

Get a TEC grill. It will last you a lifetime.
Mine is nearly 25 years and still going strong.
Just know the 1st time you use it you'll likely burn whatever you're grilling.
900F is no joke.

I will always go try on clothes/shoes first in person before ordering online. And if the store has them in stock of course I'll just buy them then and there.
To me it's a bigger waste of time to buy something online sight unseen then being disappointed with the fit/look and going through the headache of returning it.
Now if only there were a way to just buy cars online with the exact specs we want...from a brand other than Tesla.
