It's infinitely easier for me to send navigation through the app than via idrive.
I also use it to track the location when leaving it at a shop. Busted a shop for outsourcing work and taking it across town. This is why I have trust issues.

I still don't know how to log into connected drive. I looked through all the papers, but I couldn't find the login info

Bmw dealer

There is no point in having an app if it doesn't work! We just bought out 18 X5, and every time I try to use the app I just get the invalid token message.
I have a Google Pixel 4a.

Please post if anyone gets it figured out.

That happens to mine, but very rarely.

My app works fine, just a bit slow. Helpful to see charge status and charging status.

This is really the only reason why I have the app. I like to keep track of my car especially when I have to leave it somewhere for a while.

Wow, that is a great idea and I will remember to use it for that purpose!!!

Hate being logged out of the app all the time because I use it with the AndroidAutoiDrive app to get real notifications on my car. I only notice I'm logged out when I get in the car and realize I'm not getting notifications.

Finally got around to installing the app. So far so good.

The app works fine.

I love how I can double check that my doors and windows are closed and locked.

I also use it to remote start the X6.

Getting a used 18 530e next week, will most of the mybmw stuff with it?
I know stupid question hehe

As long as it’s added to your account, it should.
Off the top of my head, I’m going to say no remote start or tire pressure monitoring, but you’ll get lock/unlock, location, battery etc

I have never had this happen to me. I would speak to the "Genius" at your dealer concerning this issue.

I think it requires a modern vehicle nowadays. I have been studying iDrive 6 and 4g connectivity retrofits so that I may be able to use this.

hmmmm, I have had this when I picked up my car in Jan '23... and it seems to work fine on a iPhone... love the remote camera and horn activation ;-)
