Could be the same for the F1 start, just need one stall or hiccup.

Hopefully at least those at the front will get away cleanly, Max will have no gearbox issues & we will see a ding dong of a battle between Max & Lewis

That’s what Ferrari thought. I don’t think they really have a choice but to hope it’s ok. They’d be screwed at this track if they took the penalty as it isn’t the kind of track you can work your way through the pack.

I feel like we are going to see a Mad Max dive bomb. Either get by BOT and if not take everyone out and go into the last race with the same points lead. Especially with a possibly suspect gearbox in the back of his mind. He/everyone knows if he DNFs here and HAM wins the WDC is all but over.

I still hope for a HAM win here and a VER second so we have a winner take all last race.

I was also thinking last night that Max might attempt to DNF himself and HAM. It's a risky move because he could get hit with a penalty that would have him starting at the back of the grid for the last race. However, Max and HAM are so much faster than everyone else, starting at the back doesn't really hinder them from getting on the podium.

That’s why think the first corner makes the most sense because he could just say he was “going for it.” Harder to articulate that elsewhere if there is an incident.
