Motorrad Sparkling Storm Brilliant Effekt made its way onto BMW cars; it is a wonderful color we had on a G01 X3. It is an ever-shifting combination of brown, green and gold and looks different from every angle in every lighting condition. Beautiful. My Cayenne is Dolomite Silver Metallic and it simply gleams in full, direct sunlight. It beams. In overcast conditions it takes on a flatter, darker, bluish grey which is also nice. If you have ever visited the Dolomites in northeastern Italy (we did the year I bought the Cayenne) you will agree Porsche’s DSM is a perfect match with Mother Nature. |

Everyone has the right to their own opinion, but some people just want to hear their opinion coming out of your mouth

Porsche just happens to have several models which generally appreciate and are used for market speculation. Tend to be the driver oriented cars, GTS/GT spec. Really sad as it can make it challenging for enthusiasts to pick up as a second/third car unless independently wealthy. I owned one, didn't love it as a forever car and it was expensive enough that I was constantly worried about something happening to it and losing money when I found something else and decided to sell and switch. Really awful and was a learning experience for me in car ownership. Realistically I'm probably just not quite wealthy enough or just too stingy. One perspective. I think BMW owners are guilty of this too, especially in the higher spec cars M/5/6/7/8 and SUVs that are owned for maybe 2-4 years tops.
