That's great news but I think it's about evening out the wear rate rather than replacing because the first units are on their last legs..

Max running third quickest at the mo but with much more fuel to see how the car runs with mediums while LAN in front goes off at turn 2 and PIA clips a wall...and Yuki hits the wall a bit harder, with a red flag now.

Yes those walls are unforgiving but it looks like suspension legs, wheels and wing took the main brunt so hope it's not too bad to replace and Yuki looks fine.

So ...I think that's not great news as for the risk for a grid penalty in this season .
That's a 10P grid penalty ...

I'm pretty sure , Mercedes and Ferrari won't replace their PU's in the coming 2-3 races ..

The 2026 Ford PU isn't running like it should be with the battery power storage.
They can't make it work together when the power of the Ford PU and the battery power supply come together .

nothing to do with the car, Yuki turned left into a wall and broke his left axle, then the car went straight, and there happened to be another wall to greet him on the right.
